Beautiful 1950s Blanes dress
This dress is really pretty and in fantastic condition, Made by " BLANES" Original label not present but does have "Blanes" dress straps inside. Wonderful floral print in deep and paler redd(ish) pinks or carnations with deep green foliage on a ecru background very typical of this era, The fabric is a satin type inner dress with a chiffon type outer, with net inbetween, Fitted and darted bodice with a boat type neckline to the front and back Shoe string double shoulder straps The bodice and sash waisband is made up from loads and loads of tiny pleats, with metal side zip Lots of box pleats gather into a beautiful wide sash type waistband to form a nice full skirt at least a 170" sweep( outer chiffon layer), so lovely and full
